“Calling on Special Places"
An open-entry exhibit of handmade prints celebrating places real or imaginary that have helped us weather the isolations and disruptions of the time of the Covid-19.
May 01 - September 30
We are are accepting open-entry online submissions for this exhibition.
Participants must supply at least two impressions to support IRL ("in real life") exhibitions. The IRL displays will be made up of 20 selections from the open-entry online submissions. Of these 20, two in each category will be selected by the judges and three will be chosen through the voting process utilizing a google ballot voting process.
March 15 - May 14, 2021: open-entry online submissions
May 16 - 23, 2021: one week of online voting for selections and prize winners in four categories:
• most sublime and spiritually moving
• most technically and artistically accomplished
• most reassuring and full of hope
• most ambitious and imaginative
May 16 - June 30, 2021: IRL exhibition at The New Leaf Gallery, 11 Roxbury Street, Keene, NH (to coincide with Keene’s Art Walk).
June 13, 2021: Four winners (one in each category) will be chosen to receive awesome prizes. These will likely be selected by an IRL voting process using paper ballots at the The New Leaf Gallery in Keene, NH.
July 1 - September 30, 2021 (tentative): IRL exhibition at the 2K/Radiation Oncology exhibit space (Level 2) at Dartmouth Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, Lebanon, NH.

*Submissions are limited to 60. If we receive a total of 50 submissions before May 14th, we will likely close the submission portal. The judges reserve the right to accept 10 additional submissions by special exception subject to review by the judges (and well yes, the judges are Taryn and myself, and well yes, bribes are accepted).
