“Calling on Special Places"
An open-entry exhibit of handmade prints celebrating places real or imaginary that have helped us weather the isolations and disruptions of the time of the Covid-19.

We accepted 36 open-entry online submissions for this exhibition through May 14. Th exhibit looks great with lots of super interesting variety. Thoughtful notions accompany most of the entries.

74 people voted online for favorite selections in four categories:
• most sublime and spiritually moving
• most technically and artistically accomplished
• most reassuring and full of hope
• most ambitious and imaginative
Last day for online voting was May 23, 2021, the top online vote-winner in the four combined categories was Seb Bak's moku-hanga print "Above the Clouds". We have the online exhibit organized in order of total vote count results with Seb's print appearing first.
An IRL exhibition of 20 selections has been built using these voting results, it opens in combination with the launch of our new gallery space in Keene on June 4. Real-life voting begins June 4 with paper ballots and wraps up on June 12 ahead of an awards ceremony that is online using the Zoom platform on June 13 at 5 pm.
Timeline:
June 4 - August 21, 2021: IRL exhibition at The New Leaf Gallery, 11 Roxbury Street, Keene, NH (start of the show to coincide with Keene’s Art Walk).
June 13, 2021, 5 pm: Four winners (one in each category) will be chosen to receive awesome prizes. These will be selected by the IRL voting process using paper ballots at the The New Leaf Gallery in Keene, NH in combination with the results from the online voting. Awards ceremony to be held by Zoom. Send us an invite request to be on the Zoom invite list.
July 1 - September 30, 2021 (tentative): IRL exhibition at the 2K/Radiation Oncology exhibit space (Level 2) at Dartmouth Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, Lebanon, NH.
